A Guide to Washing Lingerie
When you care for lingerie properly, you can protect the life and look of the garment. Written below is a guide for doing this on a washing machine.
If you favour doing this bit of laundry in a washing machine, note that a washable bag is necessary. The latter is a small mesh container that will hold the lingerie. It is readily available at any major department store.
Set your washer on a warm gentle cycle. Then, add in a bit of detergent that is suitable for delicate fabrics. Finally, place the bag with the dirty laundry inside the machine. After the initial process is finished, remove the items from the laundry bag.
To do this, carefully unzip the bag and remove the garments inside. Next, you have to take each piece individually and lay the items between folds of a towel. Press out to remove all the excess water. You can dry each article of clothing on a drying rack or lay the items on a flat surface.
Finally, take your laundry bag and place it in the dryer for about ten minutes. Remove and store for future use.
